Research is a jungle...

Renowned ecologist Dr Jacques Deere (Oxon) has investigated how organisms adapt and interact in different environments, from the sub-Antarctic extremes to Dutch tulip bulbs. Now he is applying this understanding of the factors that promote success to the modern researcher. Understanding your environment can be crucial to flourishing within it.

Using unique images and insights from his own research, the workshop will challenge you to rethink your PhD landscape:

We can’t promise tiger-stripes face-painting, but we will provide lunch.

Free to all Techne members, though prior registration is requested.

If you are not a techne member but would like to attend, please book a reserve ticket. We will let you know at least one week before the event whether spaces are available.

For more details, please email Mike Rose:   RDP@surrey.ac.uk
