"Education in our Genes?"


CCACE is hosting a one-day academic workshop examining the question of "Education in our genes?" It will be held on Thursday 5th October from 10am-4pm (full programme below) at the Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, Edinburgh.

This academic workshop will focus on:

  • Education, health and social mobilty

  • Educational reforms and causeal inference

  • Genetics and epigenetics of educational attainment

There will plenty of opportunity for Q&A focusing on the population sciences/social perspectives on genetics and epigenetics so please bring along questions and discussion points. The workshop will be limited to 50 attendees to allow for easy discussion.
