How are architects, designers, and campaigners around the world mobilising for climate justice? Join us for the ACAN International Showcase, a global gathering of chapters from across the network.
This online event brings together ACAN groups to:
- Share campaigns and actions – hear how chapters are addressing climate, social, and spatial justice in their local contexts.
- Exchange strategies – learn what has worked elsewhere and spark ideas for your own practice or organising.
- Find common ground – explore shared goals across borders and discover opportunities for collaboration.
- Get involved – connect with your local ACAN chapter, thematic groups, or even seed a new chapter in your region.
Each chapter will deliver a short presentation, offering a concise insight into their work, followed by discussion and breakout rooms for networking.
Expect to hear from our Nordic Alliance, chapters in Spain, Greece, Ireland and the rapidly expanding Africa Alliance.
Whether you’re an ACAN member, a curious supporter, or someone looking for ways to take action, this showcase is an open invitation to connect, learn, and join our movement!
About ACAN International and its Aims
The Architect’s Climate Action Network (ACAN) is a voluntary network of individuals within the built environment industry taking action to address the twin crises of climate and ecological breakdown. It started in 2019 in the UK, with chapters around the world starting soon after. ACAN exists to address the way our built environment is made, operated and renewed in response to the climate emergency. As a network of individuals, we channel personal energy, expertise and action towards a common goal - the systemic change of our profession and the construction industry as a whole. We see this as a matter of urgency. Through collective action, our mission is to mobilise a movement of professional activists towards this goal by building an open, supportive and inclusive organisation.
