Event description

Description

This is a two day course, led by qualified instructors from the Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA).

A partly rebuilt dry stone wall seperates two properties in scenic Fife countryside. The rebuilt section lets you see how a dry stone wall is constructed. You'll learn how to select stone, lift it safely and place it securely in the wall under the guidance of a DSWA-qualified instructor, working safely as a team - craft skills. You will see the wall grow steadily, and maybe even put in few special features.

Wear comfortable old clothes, steel toe capped boots, gloves, waterproofs and bring a packed lunch.

Minimum Age -16.
