Event description

Description

We are delighted to welcome students studying an 'Access to HE' course to our Cambridge campus to find out more about the courses we have to offer, and useful hints and tips for applying.

This afternoon event will run from 2.00pm-5.30pm. Sessions on the day will consist of talks on writing your personal statement and applying for Student Finance, a student life session and optional campus tour.Specialist advisors from the Money Advice Team will also be on hand to answer any more complex questions you may have relating to student finance (e.g. benefits, child tax credits, etc).

There will be optional subject taster sessions which you can book to take part in. You may take part in as few or as many as you like! The optional taster sessions will run from 3.15-5.15pm, with each lasting 45mins. The taster sessions will give you the opportunity to check out our facilities, meet academic staff and ask any questions you may have about your course.

We understand that many visiting students would appreciate some help towards their travel costs or childcare for the day so we would like to offer £10 per person who attends. We will send further information about how to claim this susbsidy prior to the event.

Register you interest below and the Outreach & Recruitment team will be in touch with the optional taster sessions and logistics of the day.

We look forward to meeting you soon. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with the outreach & Recruitment team at outreachandrecruitment@anglia.ac.uk

FAQs

How much does it cost to attend?

The event is completely free for you to enjoy.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Central Cambridge can get very busy, so we recommend using the Park and Ride service if you’re travelling by car. There are five different services running seven days a week (see our Cambridge city centre map, below). Four of the services stop at the Grafton Centre, opposite our campus.

We don’t have any general parking on campus but there are a limited number of spaces for daily use by Blue Badge holders. If you are a Blue Badge holders, please book parking using the booking form, and tick 'yes' for Blue Badge parking. We will then be in touch with you to confirm parking arrangements.
