Access Hours // Let's Talk Radio
Event Information
About this Event
WHAT ARE ACCESS HOURS ONLINE SESSIONS?
Access Hours are 60 minute (funnily enough) online sessions aimed at artists or individuals who want to work in the music and live events industries. If you're a solo artist, in a band, starting your career in music or already working in the industry, these sessions are the chance to hear from industry experts and organisations about what they do and how you can do it too.
You don't need your camera or mic on, you can simply join the session and listen to the panelists speak - no pressure!
The sessions are curated by Attitude is Everything's Next Stage and Beyond The Music initiatives. Looking to remove the barriers for Deaf and disabled music makers (Next Stage) and aspiring industry professionals (Beyond The Music).
ABOUT THIS SESSION
Join presenters + producers from across the world of radio to find out how you can get your music heard, played and supported. Including representatives from BBC Introducing, Radio X and Worldwide FM.
This will be a really valuable session for any emerging artists and musicians looking to understand and navigate their way round radio promotion and getting your music to radio.
HOW WILL THE SESSION WORK?
Once you've signed up via Eventbrite you'll get sent a Zoom link on the day of the event, click on the link to open the webinar. Each session will be hosted by a member of the Attitude is Everything team and will feature at least one guest speakers from around the music industry. Only speakers and hosts have their cameras on, as an audience member you will be able to contribute via the Q&A box and chat box, there will also be the option to ask questions verbally if you'd like.
The way the session is setup means you can have it open, move around, re-string a guitar, tidy the room and not worry about needing to keep your face glued to the screen for an hour.
