Description

Day 2 Innovation, Strategy, People and Culture

Your people are your biggest asset. You need to have the right people, in the right organisation structure, with the right capabilities and values to successfully deliver your business strategy.

This course therefore combines the two aspects of business strategy and people strategy, along with culture - which is a key lynch-pin. All need to be aligned and working in harmony.

“Strategy and culture are among the primary levers at top leaders’ disposal in their never-ending quest to maintain organizational viability and effectiveness. Strategy offers a formal logic for the company’s goals and orients people around them. Culture expresses goals through values and beliefs and guides activity through shared assumptions and group norms.”

(Harvard Business Review, Jan-Feb 2018)

RTC are delighted to be working in partnership with two experts in their fields to fund 12 hours of training to eligible businesses. The course will be delivered by Sarah Bradley, Director, The HR Dept and Brenda Etchells, Director, Carduus Ltd. Between them they have 50 years’ experience across a range of disciplines and industries.

The content of the course is aimed at SMEs who are undertaking a step change in their growth aspirations. The following outline shows the 9 modules that will make up 12 hours of training to be delivered over two days (6th & 13th November). The order of the modules will be flexed to ensure the three elements of innovation strategy, people and culture are inter-linked during the training, and to ensure the sessions are tailored to the needs of the delegates.

Modules that will be covered are:

HR employee lifecycle
Employee engagement
Diversity and inclusion
Health and wellbeing
Legal landscape
