We are delighted to welcome students studying an 'Access to HE' course to our Chelmsford campus to find out more about the courses we have to offer, and useful hints and tips for applying.
The day will begin at 9.45am with refreshments and registration. The Welcome talk will then begin at 10.15am. For the morning, the Recruitment Team will deliver talks on writing your personal statement, and on Student Finance. Specialist advisors from the Money Advice Team will also be on hand to answer any more complex questions you may have relating to student finance (e.g. benefits, child tax credits, etc).
In the afternoon there will be optional taster sessions which you can book to take part in. You may take part in as few or as many as you wish! The optional taster sessions will run from 13.25-15.30, with each lasting 45mins. The taster sessions will give you the opportunity to check out our facilities, meet academic staff and ask any questions you may have about your course.
We understand that many visiting students would appreciate some help towards their travel costs or childcare for the day so we would like to offer £10 per person who attends. We will send further information about how to claim this susbsidy prior to the event.
