About this event

Charity & Causes • Human Rights

In this training session, put on by the Restricted Eligibility Support Service and delivered by Gerry Hickey from Maternity Action, aimed at people working in housing and homelessness across Greater Manchester, we explore the eligibility of non-UK nationals to access the UK health care system and highlight the risks to those with restricted eligibility. An overview of NHS charges and who they apply to will be provided before looking at how people can be supported to access healthcare and challenge any incorrect charges, or charges for those who are destitute.
