Congratulations on getting your Access to Work grant!

Are you feeling a little overwhelmed by what to do next? Do you have a long list of items but don't know how to buy them or claim the money back?

Join our Independent Access-to-Work Advisor, Alice, for this one-hour online event aimed at neurodivergent employees, self-employed and business owners.

The aim of this event is to get you confident to manage the administrative aspects of your Access to Work award going forward.

This is PART 3 of our series of sessions. By the end of this session, you will:

  1. Know where to buy specialist aids and equipment
  2. Learn how to go about finding a coach or support worker
  3. Understand the process to claim back your money (paper and online)
  4. Understand reviews and renewals and know how to report changes of circumstances
  5. Learn how to deal with an unfavourable award

Alice will spend around 30 minutes explaining the process, with time for brief clarification questions during the presentation. Afterward, there will be a Q&A for more in-depth questions.

Series of Events

This is one of a series of events to help you through the entire Access to Work application process. This is PART 3 and focuses on preparing for the caseworker meeting:

Access to Work is an incredible UK government initiative that has helped so many disabled people thrive in their jobs. We've seen firsthand how this support enables individuals not only to stay in work but to truly enjoy their roles. We're extremely grateful for this scheme, and we're committed to ensuring it continues to benefit those who need it by discouraging misuse and protecting its integrity.
