Event description

Description

This short email course will be useful to anyone who writes for the Oxford Brookes website but it's aimed at web content owners and editors in particular.

During the course, we'll share tools and tips to help you ensure your pages are compliant with accessibility legislation — as well as being easier for everyone to use!

This course will run for 5 consecutive days starting: Monday 26 June.

Each day you'll receive a new lesson, direct to your inbox, and each lesson should take you about 10 minutes to complete. And don't worry, we’re not expecting you to have any web design or coding experience!

In this email course you’ll learn:

  • Why accessibility on the web is so important — including the similar experiences of web users with disabilities and users of mobile devices.
  • How to apply the foundation principles of accessibility — during the preparation of web content.
  • Easy checks — simple checks that can be carried out by anyone, regardless of technical skills and accessibility knowledge.

Register today for access to the course.

PLEASE NOTE this training is for staff employed at Oxford Brookes University.
