Accessibility in Action: Small Changes, Big Impact
Overview
Accessibility in Action: Small Changes, Big Impact
To mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I’m offering a free, 1-hour online training session designed to help organisations, schools, and individuals take meaningful steps towards inclusion.
Accessibility isn’t just about ramps and doorways — it’s about attitudes, environments, and everyday actions that make people feel valued and included.
In this session, I’ll share practical ways to identify barriers, create more accessible spaces, and promote a culture of inclusion that benefits everyone.
What You’ll Learn
✅ What accessibility really means – beyond the physical environment
✅ Common barriers and how to recognise them
✅ Small, low-cost changes that make a big difference
✅ Real-life examples of inclusive practice that works
Who It’s For
This session is ideal for:
- School leaders, teachers and SENCOs
- HR and training professionals
- Charity and community leaders
- Anyone who wants to make their environment more accessible and inclusive
No prior knowledge needed – just an open mind and a desire to make a difference.
