This fully funded event will be on opportunity for visitor economy businesses in our area to hear from expert speakers in the field and see how they can best welcome visitors and guests with access needs, and tap into this £15.3 billion industry.

Registration & Informal networking – Teas & Coffees, Signing in and networking
MPDD Welcome; Lindsay Rae of Marketing Peak District & Derbyshire to welcome delegates and update on the ERDF business support programme and grant opportunities.
Matlock Farm Park Changing Places; George Finlay from Matlock Farm Park will be discussing how they have installed a changing places facility using the ERDF grant support and how that has impacted their business.
Ross Calladine Head of Business Support from VisitEngland: Recently appointed as the Disability and Access Ambassador for the tourism sector by the UK Government, Ross will be providing an overview of the Accessibility Tourism Market and the value of the purple pound. Ross will also be highlighting VisitEngland’s range of accessibility guidance and initiatives that are free for your business to use
Jane Cooper and Gillian Scotford from Access for All UK: An Accessible SAS Mission. Jane and Gillian will share their insights into how families with someone with accessible needs takes day trips, short breaks, and holidays.
