We are delighted to take you on a tour around Samphire Hoe Nature Reserve. Samphire Hoe was constructed from the spoils of digging out the Channel Tunnel and was opened in 1997.

The chalk soil has created a nature reserve full of exceptional biodiversity and wildlife, with 200 species of plants. Livestock such as cattle and sheep also graze here. We will be welcomed by a White Cliffs Countryside Partnership Ranger who will introduce us to the site.

There is one All Terrain Tramper Mobility Scooter which can be hired for our visit (Donations welcome). So, please let us know if you would like to book it for our tour. You will need to arrive a little earlier to go through the registration process with the Ranger beforehand.

Our routes include

Flat smooth terrain with easy access and regular resting points.

Off-road conditions with more challenging terrain for people with suitable mobility aids or who prefer a longer walk.

We offer 1:1 or 2:1 support for higher needs. Our maximum size group is 12 people.
