Accessible Routes to Music Composition and Skills Development
for teachers at keystage 2
Two sessions exploring ways into composition using codes and simple syphers to support and initiate music making. Helen will take participants through a range of accessible creative approaches that can be adapted and utilised in the classroom for the development of music skills. These sessions are ideal for the non specialist teacher and will develop approaches to music that support all pupils to engage and contribute.

3.30pm - 5.30pm
The sessions follow on from each other so teachers need to attend both.

Dwy sesiwn sy'n archwilio ffyrdd o gyfansoddi gan ddefnyddio codau a seiffrau syml i gefnogi ac i ysgogi creu cerddoriaeth. Bydd Helen yn mynd â'r cyfranogwyr drwy ystod o ymagweddau creadigol hygyrch y gellir eu haddasu a'u defnyddio yn yr ystafell ddosbarth i ddatblygu sgiliau cerddoriaeth. Mae'r sesiynau yma'n ddelfrydol ar gyfer athrawon nad ydynt yn arbenigo, a bydd yn datblygu ymagweddau tuag at gerddoriaeth sy'n cefnogi'r holl ddisgyblion i ymgysylltu ac i gyfrannu.

Expressive Arts Professional Learning Programme Spring 2021
The Central South consortium is working with the A2Connect project to deliver an exciting and varied programme of Professional Learning for teachers led by practising artists and creative practitioners. These are designed to inspire teachers at all levels; to nurture confidence, skills, and to support the development of new approaches to teaching expressive arts in line with the Curriculum for Wales framework.
