By Eagle Ski Club (Peak)

Overview

The Talk introduces a pulk based on an Argos kids sled, and the use of this to undertake a 10 - 14 day trip.

The popular ESC Peak lectures will start up again this season, with a couple of lectures during the autumn/winter. They will take place in the Padley Room of the Sir William Hotel in Grindleford.

The presentation on Wednesday, will include a talk by John Shrimpton, covering a trip he did in the Narvik area covering both Norway and Sweden. He will talk about the options to get in and out of the region and the journey using a pulk that he built using an Argos kids sled. The trip was a 10 -14 day tour with 3 days away from the start/end point.

Please pre-book (£3) through Eventbrite. If you want to eat before the lecture, please make your own arrangements with The Sir William.

The session will start promptly at 7.15
