Providing accommodation to refugees and people seeking asylum in the changing landscape of Covid-19

About this event

As part of NACCOM's September webinar series in the run up to our AGM, this virtual workshop will explore how accommodation delivery models have been redesigned for refugees and people seeking asylum in the changing landscape of Covid-19.

What have we learnt from Covid-19? How have we (and how can we?) adapt our services to work in partnership to deliver a more client-focussed and holistic accommodation model with the goal of achieving positive move-on for people?

This workshop will hear from two NACCOM members for whom local authority or devolved government provision (known as “Everybody In in England and Wales”) has contributed to the redesign of their existing delivery model, enabling people being accommodated to be more involved in shaping the service and better supported to see lasting changes in their circumstances.

When is it?

Wednesday 16th September at 2pm (by Zoom, length of time: 75 mins)

Who is running the workshop?

The webinar is being hosted by NACCOM with guest contributors Annika Joy from Glasgow Night Shelter for Destitute Asylum Seekers and Matt Lambert from Enterprise Homes Group.
