"Amazing course."

"More detailed then anything I've been on before"

"I took your online SFTR course and loved the breadth of material you covered"

"Engaging and not just someone droning on from a Powerpoint presentation"

Market FinReg presents our FREE online introduction to SFTR Transaction Reporting – accredited by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Our course was the FIRST course worldwide to be accredited back in March 2018 - over six months before anyone else managed to understand the legislation and produce a course.

Industry experts at Market FinReg have not only published the first (and to date only book) on SFTR, but we present the European Union's first accredited SFTR training course that will clear the fog.

Having analysed all texts and engaged directly with ESMA and the European Commission (as reported in the international press) our course is at the very frontier of knowledge.

Does SFTR affect me?

If you are any of the following, quite likely:

  • MiFID II regulated firm
  • Banks
  • UCITS & UCITSM
  • AIF & AIFM

SFTR Transaction Reporting is the new EMIR, except manifestly more complicated. The Securities Financing Transactions Regulation regime is already live for SFT disclosure and collateral reuse limbs. However, the transaction reporting is the great spectre that looms large over industry – it is due to go live in 2019.

Confusion reigns supreme as the complexity of the reporting regime is unpredented. Trade Repositories and industry "experts" are struggling to make sense of the reporting regime

Transaction reporting comprises a subset of 4 tables, 6 report types and 10 action types. Few market participants are able to decode the complicated level II legislation.
