Event description
How can we combine the fights for climate justice and social justice? What works? What can we learn from movements in other times & places?

About this Event

This session will start with a presentation of film clips by Shaun Day of Reel News, who last year toured the USA, meeting with community groups fighting for “just transition” away from fossil fuels.

Then we will have a discussion, opened by Nic Beuret (lecturer at University of Essex, long-time activist in climate movements).

You don't need any previous knowledge or experience to join us - just turn up! The idea is for us all to learn, and learn from each other.
