Event description

Description

In June Leaders for Leeds met to explore the global agenda up to 2030 - based around the United Nations sustainable goals. As part of these conversations we agreed to look at some of these goals in greater depth.

This is the first of these follow-up events and we will be discussing what we can all do to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

We will be joined by Cllr Judith Blake, Leader of Leeds City Council and Chair of the Core Cities. Cllr Blake has promoted a 'Strong Economy and Compassionate City' in Leeds and has promoted International Women's day in the city for the past 5 years.

All are welcome to join us at this breakfast meeting to discuss and take action to achieve gender equality in Leeds and across the world.
