Achieving Your Potential Panel - Career Crossroads: Setting Your Own Path
Thu 27 April 2017, 18:30 – 21:00 BST
Come join us for the first of this year's Achieving Your Potential panel series on Thursday 27th April...
You have been steadily moving up the career chain. For the past few years, you’ve put your head down, worked hard and moved up the ranks. But as you near the top, the view is not what you expected. The job is just as demanding but somehow less fulfilling.
Our industry is incredibly fast moving and easy to get swept up in. But when you slow down, you feel that you are beginning to lose sight of your goals and what you are working towards. In essence, you’re in danger of falling out of love with your work.
So what next?
Do you abandon years of dedication in one industry in order to jump into another?
Do you cut back your time and influence at work in order to give more attention to hobbies, passions or family?
Or do you stick with it and fight to make the career you have built one that you love?
Come hear the stories of some amazing people who have all been at this career crossroad and made a life changing decision either way. They will share their personal experiences as well as some tips on how to navigate this challenge yourself.
We're thrilled to have on our panel:
Caroline Foster Kenny - CEO EMEA at IPG Media Brands
Debbie Forster MBE - Director at Novel Design and ex-CEO at Apps for Good
Chrissy Totty - Founder at Interior Sourcery, and ex-Head of Innovation at Vizeum UK
Please arrive for drinks at 6.30pm, ready for the event kick-off at 7pm.
Don't forget to buy your £2 raffle ticket in advance or on the night - we have some great prizes up for grabs, and all profit goes to our charity partner Women's Aid. Prizes include (more to come):
