Acne Treatment in Primary Care, Cheshire & Merseyside CPD ONLY

Course Outline;

This course is run by a specialist in dermatology who will discuss caring for acne patients in primary care.

Acne, a prevalent skin condition demands accurate understanding and proficient management. Our course will enhance knowledge and skills necessary to support your patients with their acne management.

Course Aims and Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Pathogenesis of acne vulgaris – what’s new in 2025?
• How to recognise severity of acne vulgaris
• Understand more about acne and assessment
• Improve evidence -based knowledge on treatment options
• Treating Acne with Antimicrobial resistance in mind
• Gain confidence on advising and support patients with acne via case studies
• When to refer on to specialist care services

THIS TRAINING IS FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY FOR CPD WHITHIN CHESHIRE & MERSEYSIDE PRIMARY CARE TEAMS ONLY.

You will be required to give details of your NMC number and Practice/PCN name.

The following Primary Care staff are eligible for CPD funding: All registered Nurses , Midwives , Art Therapists , Drama therapists , Music therapists , Chiropodists/podiatrists , Dietitians, Occupational therapists , Operating Department Practitioners , Orthoptists , Osteopaths , Paramedics , Physiotherapists , Prosthetists and Orthotists, Radiographers , Speech and language therapists.

Will be free to book and attend but the cost (£102.85)will be taken out of your £333 CPD Allowance for this year. Charges for inappropriate roles will apply.
