Speaker: Neil Ritch, Scotland Director, The National Lottery Community Fund

ACOSVO is delighted to be joined by Neil Ritch who will speak about his experiences and learnings as the new Scotland Director of The National Lottery Community Fund, as well as showcasing some of the excellent work taking place in Scotland.

Neil will also outline the challenges and opportunities faced when distributing the National Lottery funds to ensure local communities across Scotland are reached.

We hope you welcome this opportunity of bringing together third sector leaders with funders for a lively discussion on this and other topics over dinner.

These events are stimulating, convivial and energising occasions and we hope you will be able to attend.

The format of the evening will be:

5.30 pm - Networking drinks reception

6.00 pm - Presentation and discussion

7.00 pm - Dinner and further discussion

The evening will finish by 9.30 pm

This event is open to Chief Officers and Senior Leaders (members and non-members of ACOSVO) of Scottish voluntary organisations.

About Neil Ritch:

Neil was appointed as The National Lottery Community Fund's Scotland Director in 2019, he has almost 20 years’ experience of working in National Lottery funding.

Neil leads a team of around 90 people in the Glasgow office, he works closely with the Scotland Chair and Committee to ensure that National Lottery money works hard for local communities across Scotland.

Neil joined the New Opportunities Fund, a legacy organisation of The National Lottery Community Fund in May 2000. Prior to that he worked as a Community Worker in Shetland and as a Scottish Civil Servant in community care policy.
