About this Event

ACOSVO Scottish Leaders Dinner: Sitting At A New Seat At The Table

Chaired by: Pat Armstrong, Chief Executive, ACOSVO

Speaker: Sarah Davidson, CEO, Carnegie UK Trust

ACOSVO is delighted to be joined by Carnegie Trust CEO Sarah Davidson who will speak about her career transition from a senior role in Government to CEO of an independent Foundation, including reflections on what she has learned and observed during this ongoing process.

We hope you welcome this opportunity of bringing together third sector leaders with funders for a lively discussion on this and other topics over dinner.

These events are stimulating, convivial and energising occasions and we hope you will be able to attend.

The format of the evening will be:

5.30 pm - Networking drinks reception

6.00 pm - Presentation and discussion

7.00 pm - Dinner and further discussion

The evening will finish by 9.30 pm

This event is open to Chief Officers and Senior Leaders (members and non-members of ACOSVO) of Scottish voluntary organisations.

About Sarah Davidson:

Sarah was appointed as the Carnegie Trust's Chief Executive in August 2019. Davidson’s appointment comes ahead of the Trust beginning the development of a new five-year strategic plan, which will go live in 2021.

Prior to joining Carnegie Trust, Sarah worked for the Scottish Government where she led around 2,000 staff with the goal of improving the delivery of corporate functions, implementing new Social Security powers and embedding an internal change programme.

She took a leadership role on diversity, inclusion and talent and was a member of the UK Civil Service Leadership Group, with particular responsibilities for talent development.
