Women Leaders' Network

'The Accidental Leader'

This event and networking lunch continues to build on the ACOSVO Women Leaders' Network, a new peer support network for women Chief Officers in Scottish voluntary organisations.

The theme of this event is 'The Accidental Leader' and we are delighted to be joined by Heather Lamont, Director of Client Investments, CCLA, and Natalie Stevenson, Trust Manager, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Countryside Trust, who will speak around this theme and their personal journey into their leadership position.

'The Accidental Leader'

Leadership isn’t something we do for its own sake – it’s something we develop and use to help us accomplish tasks and reach goals for ourselves and our organisations. And sometimes, you don’t realise until afterwards the role that leadership has played in your achievements.

Our speakers will be sharing some reflections about their own experience of ‘accidental leadership’ and encouraging you to recognise just how often and how effectively you’ve already used your own leadership skills.

Please join us in the beautiful Balmoral venue for lunch and to meet other women Chief Officers for informal networking and peer support.
