Join local acrylic pouring enthusiast Laura to discover the joyful world of fluid art! She will be sharing all of her experience, tips and tricks to help you master the following:
- Using colour theory to select a colour combination that pops
- Mixing paints to the right consistency for a great pour
- Discovering a range of dirty pour techniques, including: flip cup, ribbon pour and ring pour
- Exploring additives, swipe tools and a heat gun, to create stunning cells and lacing
- Experimenting with fun techniques, such as: balloon smash and string pull - using everyday objects to create all kinds of impressive artistic effects!
Guests will create three one-of-a-kind artworks on 8x10" canvases:
- one dirty pour
- one swipe
- one completely unique masterpiece combining your choice of favourite techniques you have learnt!
This masterclass is open to adults & teens of all abilities - no artistic experience required. The aim of this session is to fully embrace the spontaneous, playful nature of acrylic pouring and enjoy the creative process. Laura has just one rule - no perfectionism!
