Is the workshop suitable for all standards

The instruction is given step-by-step and demonstrated and is suitable for beginners or more experienced painters. Experimentation is encouraged. I aim to cover the basic techniques but also something a bit different to try.

This workshop is indoors, overlooking the stunning cooling pond and fountain at Papplewick Pumping Station. All workshop materials will be provided. There is accessible access.

It is suitable for all levels of experience as step by step guidance is given, with experimentation encouraged for more expert painters. I have many years of experience using acrylic paint to produce a wide range of subjects including portraits and landscapes.

Topics covered will include advantages of acrylic, tips and techniques including stopping it drying too quickly and blending.

These workshops are aimed at adults, 12 plus are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Light refreshments are available to purchase from the cafe and an additional tour of the engine house for a small fee on the day. Entrance to the grounds and parking is free.
