Zumba course
A ticket for this event states that you are signing up for our waiting list. A spot will be offered to you once the course starts. We will contact you personally.
Please note, this is not a drop-in session and participants are expected to attend the full course. The course is for Hackney residents only. All attendees are expected to complete a registration form upon enrolling.
Zumba is a fun dance and exercise workout featuring different types of steps, including salsa and meringue, which have easy-to-learn instructions and are combined to create a workout for the entire body. Suitable for complete beginners.
Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the following learning outcomes. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals i.e. progression to an advanced-level course
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Have improved and built up co-ordination skills
- Know how to tone up and how to work on a variety of stretches to enhance flexibility and strength
- Dance different routines to a variety of music
- Have increased cardio energy levels
