Visual Artist Joe Simpson’s latest exhibition, ACT is a series of paintings depicting British actors in a fictional scene and features Olivia Colman, Paddy Considine, Charlie Cox, Warwick Davis, Mark Gatiss, Matt Lucas, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Simm and Eleanor Tomlinson. Over five years in the making, the project sees Simpson ask some of his favourite actors ‘what role have you always wanted to play but have never got the chance?’ with their choices revealing new insights into their motivations, dreams and passions.

Come along for a tour of the exhibition with the artist, he'll give a 45 minute talk about how it all came together with video clips. You'll then be invited to ask questions and he'll do his best to answer. It well it all be nice and informal and there will be cups of tea.
