Acting Code demo induction workshop
Come join us at UCL East - Marshgate Community Room for an exciting interactive, theatre workshop that will revolve around the method of acting code, a method for acting and directing for film, theatre and the performing arts, developed and mastered by Mr Christos Prosylis, a film and theatre director, visual artist and writer.
The workshop is part of a series of workshops held as part of the Community Theatre project: 'Unpacking urban heritage values through theatre practices in Dagenham Village' led by Athina Petsou and Prof Kalliopi Fouseki and funded by the UCL East Engagement Seed Fund.
The workshop seminar includes:
- 1h theoretical introduction
- 1h induction workshop with introduction to basic beginners training for the stage
- 1h practice using a few lines from ancient Greek drama
- 1h improvisation
- 3' performance.
For the workshop no prior experience in acting is required, however, it's necessary to wear comfortable clothes for improvisation.
