About this Event

Founder and CEO, Ann Moulds, initiated the successful campaign Action Scotland Against Stalking in 2009 for Scotland to be the first country to introduce specific legislation for the prosecution of stalkers. This groundbreaking move is now the blueprint for the rest of UK, Europe and other global initiatives.

From a campaigning body launched in 2010, Action Against Stalking (AAS) was formed as a charitable organisation in 2014 to champion the rights of stalking victims in the UK and across the globe. We are committed to bringing together all relevant professionals and agencies to raise awareness, and to protect and support and protect victims of stalking.

We are holding the second UK Conference ‘Cyber Stalking – the iPredator’ on Wednesday 6 November 2019 at Radisson Blu, Glasgow. We have secured support from a rich mix of speakers from across the UK and, to supplement them, will deliver workshops that will improve awareness, knowledge and understanding. Our focus is to:

  • Give greater understanding of cyber stalking and the iPredator – who, why, how, where
  • Raise awareness into the world of social media and stalking – and the dark web
  • Provide practical advice on cyber security
  • Challenge thinking on rehabilitation or incarceration of the stalker
  • Facilitate sharing of experience, good Practice and achievements in dealing with iPredators

With a rich mix of speakers from across the UK and Europe presenting on a variety of topics including :

  1. Give greater understanding of cyber stalking and the iPredator – who, why, how, where
  2. Raise awareness into the world of social media and stalking – and the dark web
  3. Provide practical advice on cyber security
  4. Challenge thinking on rehabilitation or incarceration of the stalker
