Event description

Description

Dear Colleague,

Everyone at Action for Change would like to invite you to our Final Conference and the Women’s Shadow Board exhibition, taking place on 24th November 2016 at the Victory Services Club, Marble Arch.

The 2 year EU component of the Action for Change programme is coming to an end. This component focussed on working with survivors of domestic abuse who have experienced care proceedings and are at risk of having another child removed.

We would be delighted if you joined us in celebrating our achievements and success over the last 2 years. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of the clients, members of the Women’s Shadow Board, our European partners and professionals in the field.

The conference will be jam packed and focussed on effective practice. We want to:

·       Share our findings of our pilot projects across UK, Italy, Hungary and Romania.

·       Discuss key learnings from the interventions we used, how we will implement this locally across the 4 countries, and promote best practice.

·       Launch our research results, the best practice toolkit and a women’s resource booklet.

·       Screen a short film and exhibit the creative work that the Women’s Shadow Board members have produced.

Venue: The El Alamein and Trafalgar Suite, Victory Services Club, 63-79 Seymour St, London W2 2HF
