Action for Happiness Gathering (Aldershot, 24th Jan 2017)
Tue 24 January 2017, 19:00 – 21:00 GMT
MindFULL or Mindful?
Mindfulness is being mentioned repeatedly, with the TV, radio, newspapers and internet buzzing about this life-enhancing practice.
In addition to mindfulness as a personal practice, both the public sector and corporate world are using mindful techniques to bring business value and to improve employee well-being.
Over this evening, you will have the opportunity to better understand the basic principles of mindfulness and to gain practical experience through some short guided mindful practices.
With this being an introduction, previous experience of mindfulness is not required.
In addition, an overview of the Action for Happiness (AfH) course "Exploring What Matters" will also be provided. This highly acclaimed facilitated 8 week course explores what matters for a happy and meaningful life.
Come join the community and make 2017 the year you invest in yourself and enjoy the benefits of becoming more mindful.
About the Action for Happiness (AFH) hub:
This is our second meet up after the success of the gratitude evening in September 2016. It is being driven by a small group of volunteers in Hampshire passionate about helping to support the local community to focus more on wellbeing and to live more fulfilled lives.
Who is the evening for?
The evening is for anyone who is interested in finding out more about the AFH organisation and about being part of a local community here on the Hampshire/Surrey border.
Regardless of whether you have previously participated in an AFH event or not, you are very welcome to join this second informal Happiness Hub gathering.
With spaces limited to 35, prompt booking is essential to attend this free event.
