Description
People have always been good at solving problems in groups using a learning in action approach where participants can share real issues and receive practical support and challenge from colleagues. This session will help equip you with some simple but effective ‘Action Learning’ techniques that you can readily apply to work and a whole variety of situations. Colin will add some theoretical under pinning and help guide us on how to use some of the techniques on our own examples.
Session content is likely to include:
- Roadmap of best practice
- Defining the issue
- Having the discussion
- Coaching for improvement
NOTE: Please bring an example of a challenge, concern, dilemma that you are aware of (current or from your past) that you are prepare to examine and share with the group. Typical examples might include:

About the speaker: Colin Chrebelski
Colin is a past president of JCI Cambridge and Senator of JCI. He ran his own people development business and worked in the areas of leadership and management development. He worked with a wide range of national and international organisations and specialises in helping highly technically people develop their people and interpersonal skills. He has developed a particular interest in Action Learning and has helped many organisations develop their own learning groups and has belonged to a group of his own for over 12 years.
