Rose Bruford's Theatre & Social Change BA (Hons) and Contemporary & Popular Performance (BA) Hons invite you to join us at Tramshed on Thursday 13 November for Activating Change: Open Talks - an evening of inspiring conversation with Luke Hallgarten (of Revel Puck Circus)

Born and raised in London, Luke Hallgarten is a 3rd generation Jewish immigrant with dual German/British nationality. A graduate of the National Centre for Circus Arts in London and the prestigious Le Lido in Toulouse, he toured with NoFit State Circus and Gandini Juggling before founding The Revel Puck Circus, where he is artistic director. Luke has written, directed and produced a broad spectrum of circus; his shows have sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe, won awards at the Cirque de Demain festival in Paris, and filled big tops and Spiegel tents nationwide. His work focuses on the universality of circus as a tool for social change, creating spaces where everyone, from everywhere, is welcome.

Together we will consider the many ways change might be enacted in our communities and in wider society - creating a shared understanding of the goals we have and the strategies we might use to get there. These (free but ticketed) talks are for the students on our course as well as across different courses at Rose Bruford College and are also open to the wider public.

ACCESS:

- The space (Tramshed) is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets nearby.

- The event will be fully relaxed - this means it will allow for noise and movement, leaving and re-entering the space when needed.

- Please contact info@tramshed.org - if there are any access needs we can support with or questions you have about the space or event.
