Event description

Description

Monday 10th June; 9.45am-2.00pm (lunch included)

Joule Suite, CTF, 46 Grafton Street, Manchester, M13 9NT

A Social Enterprise can help deliver an innovative approach to knowledge exchange and impact. Social entrepreneurship enhances the student experience, graduate employability, teaching quality, and research impact and job satisfaction.

UMI3 is holding a workshop to introduce and discuss the basics of Social Enterprise, what Social Enterprise actually is and what funding or help is available to those who wish to start a Social Enterprise. This workshop will also feature some case studies from carefully selected guest speakers who have a wealth of experience in Social Entrepreneurship either through helping establish or starting up their own Social Enterprise. This will then be followed by a short Q&A session with networking afterwards.

Please note: This event is for University of Manchester staff, students and recent graduates (up to 1 year) from the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences only. Please register with your University of Manchester email address.
