About Dr Arjun K Ghosh, MBBS MSc PhD FHEA FACC FESC FRCP FICOS

Arjun is a consultant cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre (BHC), St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London and at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and honorary senior lecturer (associate professor) at University College London (UCL) and Queen Mary University of London (QMUL).

As a final year trainee, he helped set up cardio-oncology services at Europe’s largest cardiac centre (BHC) and Europe’s largest cancer centre (UCLH). This work culminated in becoming the first consultant cardiologist in the UK to be appointed in cardio-oncology in 2018. Arjun is currently the clinical lead of the UCLH Cardio-Oncology service and is part of the cardio-oncology service at BHC and the advanced cardiac imaging services at both sites.

He is in charge of Imaging and Heart Failure training at BHC and UCLH as well as being Director of the Foundation Programme at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Arjun also helps deliver pan-London heart failure training via the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM).
