ADA Environment Day 2026
Overview
ADA is delighted to be hosting its annual Environment Day on Wednesday 4th February 2026 at Park Farm, Thorney, near Peterborough. The event is kindly sponsored by one of our Associate Members, Breheny Civil Engineering.
This free in-person event aims to provide an insightful day of talks on a range of topics relevant to the management of the lowland watercourses and the freshwater environment. The day will cover everything from eels to invasive species, and beavers to landscape recovery.
We look forward to welcoming Sarah Fowler, Chief Executive at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust as our keynote speaker.
In addition to Sarah's address, we are pleased to host an excellent line up of presenters from STOWA, University of Cambridge, University of Hull, the Environment Agency, Water Management Alliance, and Wessex Water. They will share their insights and research on key topics including Fens 2100+, beavers in the Netherlands, retaining water safely, lowland channel management, eel passage at pumping stations and rainwater harvesting.
