Feedback:

“Really liked Alis giving us examples of her own thinking, to show us how it differs from the thoughts we usually come across. Also really liked the practical adaptions we can make to our practice. Really really helpful. I will be changing my practice in light of these suggestions."

"Useful to see the perspective of someone with Asperger's."

“I found it really helpful to have the input from Alis with her real life experiences and what it feels like for a person on the autistic spectrum to receive therapy in a traditional way. It was very useful to know that looking at their thoughts is not going to help as well as looking at their behaviours."

“It was very helpful to see an insight into ASD individual's thought patterns and content."

“Made me realise where I have gone wrong in the past which was invaluable."

Venue:

It will take place at a secondary school for girls.

Hosts:

This event will be hosted by Alis Rowe and Rebecca Swist. Alis has had personal experience of receiving CBT and counselling and Rebecca is an Autism Specialist with a background in social work.
