Adapting your Refuge for Deaf Survivors

This practical training course is for refuge workers, housing staff, and domestic abuse professionals who want to make their services more accessible to Deaf survivors.

Participants will learn about different types of deafness, how to meet communication needs, and the use of assistive communication equipment. The course also covers how to access the right support and how to make physical and service adjustments to create a safer, more inclusive refuge environment.
