Event description

Description

To remain competitive your organisation needs to remain relevant in a rapidly changing environment. Adaptive Organisation Design enables your people to reorganise the way they work and the organisation to rapidly adapt. This releases the potential of your people and leads to a healthy, high performing organisation.

In this masterclass we’ll literally play with this concept using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, to rapidly deepen your understanding of Adaptive Organisation Design, while developing practical insights.

What you will learn

  • Why designing for adaptiveness is important and what it really is

  • Who, why and how to involve in the design process

  • How to design for adaptiveness, using powerful but practical tools and thinking from both Tricordant and Cocoon Projects

  • How to integrate LEGO® Serious Play® within an organisational design process

  • How to co-create adaptive organisations, to lay a foundation for their excellent execution and navigate change in real time.

  • Insights from other attendees

Phase 1

What and Why. Using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and Cocoon Projects Adaptive Operating Model thinking we will explore and understand what an Adaptive Organisation really is, why and when it is a good thing to pursue it and the principles behind it.

Phase 2

How. We will dive into the nitty-gritty of how to realise such an organisation, both from the human system perspective and from the organisation designer perspective. We will apply Tricordants powerful but practical design toolkit into case studies, illustrations and your own experiences to develop deep learning.

Audience

This workshop is a perfect fit for Senior executives who recognise that their organisation needs to change more rapidly to remain relevant and sustainable. Equally this course will deepen and stretch the learning of HR, Agile, Organisation Design and Development consultants wanting to understand how to support their clients.

Here's what one of our participants has said:

'I am always one for ensuring I keep up to date on the latest thinking, and Organisational Design is one area where the thinking is always maturing. Delivered by a company I trust and learning off other like minded people adds to the enjoyment as you know you'll always come away with fresh insights. I am always seeking good CPD type events and this one ticks all the boxes for me, Adaptive Design will stretch the thinking, and being a visual leaner, the idea of getting hands on with learning about practical exercises appeals every time' Sandra Tinker, Commercial Operations Director at Condé Nast
