Where can I park for the Theory Training

Croyde Village Hall has a carpark immediately behind it. This costs £2.50 all day. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from there to the surf school: Surf South West.

Where can I park for Sea Training

You could leave your car at the Village Hall in the centre of Croyde, or to avoid the 15 minute walk there is carparking at Ruda overflow car park (top of Ruda site, up past the reception) that is free for Wave Project volunteers and is 5 minutes walk from Surf South West.

What do I need to bring?

1. Warm clothes. 2. Keep Cup – we’ll provide tea and coffee. 3. Packed lunch – there’s not enough time in the day to go and buy lunch, please bring it with you. 4. cold water kit

What should I wear for Sea Training?

Please wear a full length wetsuit. We also recommend wetsuit boots at this time of year. You are also welcome to wear gloves and/or a hood if you feel more comfortable doing so. If you need to borrow a wetsuit from the surf school then let Ian know.
