Adel Dam Fungi Foray (Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Member's Exclusive Event)

Take a walk on the wilder side with fungi expert Andy Woodall at this woodland nature reserve just north of Leeds.

Due to the nature of this event, we kindly ask that no dogs are in attendance (except assistance dogs).

Please note, this event is an exclusive event for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Yorkshire Naturalists' Union members.

Embrace your wild side - what to expect:

This will be just over a 1 mile walk over relatively flat but uneven and unsurfaced paths around the reserve.

Meet in the Golden Acre Park car park on Otley Road.

What to bring/wear

We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! It could still be midge and mosquito season so we highly recommend wearing insect repellent.

Toilets and catering

There are no toilet or catering facilities on this reserve. There are toilets and a café in the neighbouring Golden Acre Park.

Parking

Use the main Golden Acre car park on Otley Road. It is a short, flat walk to the reserve. Please note, parking charges apply.

Additional information

You may wish to bring a picnic and a flask of hot drinks but please take your litter home with you.
