Growing up as a Gen Z, Adele spent endless hours as a teenager on social media, shaping her view of herself and the world. As a freelance journalist, she has used her social media platforms and digital technology to develop a career in an unfamiliar and competitive industry, benefitting from the opportunities that these spaces can offer. But after losing her sister to online harms, she realised that our current digital world is failing us.

Adele Zeynep Walton

Adele Zeynep Walton is a British Turkish journalist, online safety campaigner and the author of Logging Off: The Human Cost of Our Digital World. Adele has channelled a personal loss into advocating for a safer digital world for young people. She is a member of Bereaved Families for Online Safety and a youth ambassador for People Vs Big Tech.

Adele is also the co-founder of Logging Off Club, which brings people together offline at phone free events to reconnect and promote connection, curiosity and wellness.

Jess Davies

Jessica Davies is a Welsh radio personality, TV presenter, campaigner, influencer and former glamour model. Davies was born in Hereford, England but moved to Aberystwyth, Ceredigion in Wales in her early years. She is a fluent Welsh language speaker as she learnt at her local Welsh school in her village.

Clare Farrell

As one of the co-founders of Extinction Rebellion, Clare has many years of experience using her voice to inspire and motivate people to take action. Described by a BBC journalist as a ‘samurai sword of truth,’ Clare is not afraid to go up against heavy hitters in the mainstream media and finds herself at ease talking to those who might disagree with her.
