Join us at QMUL for an intensive week on our new ADEPT Summer School: International Perspectives on Higher Education – Developing Academic Practice. Led by the CAPD and designed for anyone supporting student learning from around the world, you will develop both your theoretical approaches and practical skills in teaching & learning practice. Through our daily series of thought-provoking keynote lectures, you will enhance your insight and understanding of current global trends, issues and international initiatives in the sector.
During our varied programme, you will explore major themes in international higher education. You will examine the impact of cultural differences and dimensions on your individual practice. You will consider both the challenges and opportunities of working in an international context. Throughout the immersive course, you will explore what it means to be an exceptional and inspirational practitioner with a distinctly global outlook.
The ADEPT Summer School runs from 11-15 July 2016 and is offered as a standalone development opportunity or as a postgraduate module on an accredited teaching course, which is worth 15 credits at Masters Level. In order to claim credit for the module, participants will be required to complete official enrolment.
