WHO IS IT FOR?
- Adults with ADHD
- People who think they may have it.
- Partners, friends and relatives of ADHDers.
- Health Care Professionals.
The workshop (limited to 14 participants) aims to use the arts to inform, entertain, inspire and heal.
WHY POETRY?
Integral to poetry are feeling, thought, meaning, sound and rhythm - all of which make poetry a powerful tool in both understanding and helping ADHD.
WHY HUMOUR?
The presenters are experts in using warm-hearted humour and reverse psychology in therapy, counselling and coaching—a process Phil Jeremiah has called Provocative Wisdom. They will explore and demonstrate this approach to the ADHD experience.
WHY PAINT?
This interactive workshop will take place at the London Art Therapy Centre with full access to a wide range of art materials - all of which will be available for use in art therapy exercises with special relevance to ADHD.
