About this event

What can you expect?

Join us for the first in our series of online interactive workshops, where we will explore ADHD acceptance. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or not, everyone is welcome.

We'll discuss how to acknowledge and navigate the barriers that stand in the way of accepting your ADHD, and share some practical tips and resources on the subject.

The session will be run by Alex Conner, a consultant in ADHD support and education, and co-founder of the ADHDadultUK charity and The ADHD Adults Podcast.

This will be an interactive workshop. Alex will come armed with some background information for you to frame the discussion. You will have the opportunity to share your perspectives with other participants in the group, as well as the facilitator, and to ask questions if you have any.

All of our workshops in this series will be comprised of:

  • A discussion around the theme
  • Some 'self-coaching' conversations for practical ideas
  • Shared perspectives on the topic
  • A Q&A session at the end

This particular workshop will cover a number of themes including:

  • The difference between self identity and self diagnosis
  • Benefits of self-diagnosis
  • The value of ADHD acceptance
  • How to begin accepting ADHD

What time will the event be running?

The online workshop will start at 6:30pm. It will run for 90 mins and will include a 15 minute Q&A. Further details including the link and agenda will be provided before the event by email.

If you haven't received the link, or are unsure how to join please contact adhdconnectinfo@gmail.com.
