This one-hour virtual workshop is designed specifically for professionals in the construction and trades industries who want to better understand and support team members with ADHD.

Led by Springboard Clinic, a leading organization specializing in ADHD assessment, treatment, and education, this interactive session will empower participants to better support neurodivergent individuals at work.

In this session, participants will:

  • Gain understanding about ADHD, what it is, and what it is not
  • Learn how ADHD shows up in real individuals, moving beyond common stereotypes
  • Explore the ways ADHD can impact those working in construction
  • Identify common workplace barriers faced by individuals with ADHD
  • Discover practical tools and inclusive strategies to support neurodivergent team members
  • Engage in a live Q&A to ask questions and gain real-time advice from an expert psychologist

Whether you’re a manager, supervisor, or tradesperson, this workshop will provide the insights and resources needed to foster a more inclusive, productive, and supportive work environment.

About the Presenter

Dr. Kelly Murphy, PhD, C.Psych., is a registered psychologist specializing in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation psychology.

She focuses on cognitive assessment and intervention for adults and seniors. She earned her doctorate from Western University, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Rotman Research Institute. Currently, she is the Director of Service Development and Research at Springboard Clinic, an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, and a member of the CADDRA Research Committee. She is dedicated to integrating evidence-based research into clinical practice, ensuring clients feel their experiences are recognized and respected.
