Event description

Description

Welcome to this, the first, ADISA Conference specifically focussed on Data Processors.

The purpose of this conference is to align Data Processors from different industries and to promote those who deliver secure processing services to their clients.

The content of this conference is designed to help Data Controllers make better informed decisions when engaging and managing companies who provide Data Processing Services. The conference will present expert insight on a range of issues which can impact the Data Controller or the Data Processor.

With the EU General Data Protection Regulation being enshrined into UK law by 25th May 2018 and the UK’s own
Data Protection Bill on the horizon, this is perhaps the most intense period requiring organisations to review how
they manage and protect their data.

So, what’s different about our conference? With GDPR fatigue quickly becoming a real problem and a plethora of
experts offering their opinion, what is different about our conference? Our differentiator is our narrow focus – the
area of data processors. The conference doesn’t claim to be able to solve all your GDPR or information security
issues, but we’d like to feel that we CAN help you address this one key area.

The conference is spread over two days with the first being content driven and the second being very much focussed on education and skills transference to ensure delegates leave better informed, motivated, and empowered to act.
