Course Aim:

The aim of this course is to provide Governing Bodies with information concerning the Admissions Appeals process.

Course Content:

Meeting the requirements of the School Admission Appeals Code including:
• The appeals process.
• Formation of an Appeals panel.
• The role of the clerk/chair of the Appeals panel.
• Communicating the decision.
